Rock The Valley is a day of feel-good blues, rock, soul & roots music bringing the summer vibes to the Yarra Glen Racecourse on Saturday 5th March 2022.
Dancefloor rockers and triple J stalwarts The Delta Riggs are headlining, with a strong supporting cast including Steph Strings, Smoke Stack Rhino, The Ugly Kings, Sunfruits, murmurmur, Iseula, Bill Barber & The Revelators, Suneden & The Seg Street Jam, Richie Langford, Rhys Sund and Brielle all taking the stage.
Ash & Ashlee King from Jamalama Music are running the festival to support music in the Yarra Ranges and Outer East, with over 50% of the line-up comprised of local acts.
“Rock The Valley is all about bringing the community together: you can share a picnic rug under shady trees, enjoy chilled local beers, sip your way through delicious local wines, or enjoy some tucker from the food trucks,” says Ash.

Amenities, parking and facilities are all within easy walking distance and the Racecourse is connected to public transport by the 685 bus from Lilydale Station. The event is mobility friendly and wheelchair accessible.
With Adults only $30 and Concession (13-17) $20, tickets are affordably-priced to involve the community. Kids under 12 get in free with a ticket-holding adult.

Rock The Valley is organised by Jamalama Music and supported by Creative Victoria, Yarra Ranges Council, PBS 106.7FM and United Pop Melbourne. It will take place upon on the traditional lands of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation.

My nickname is “The Amnplifier”. Why? Because around here my focus is on being a conduit for providing greater outcomes that people come here for. My day to day “work” is living in the moment, and I love helping others concentrate on finding their connection to themselves through their experiences.
Why start a music environment? The truth is I love music, I love writing, and I love life. I work with musicians every day, and I feel certain that I will be until they put me in the ground. I have been managing people in businesses of some sort for over thirty five years so along the way I have developed some “wisdom” from my regular and constant “observations”.
