Off the heels of a globally multi-platinum collaboration “Chica Ideal” with Guaynaa, Latin pop leader Sebastián Yatra debuts a striking, personal new single “Adiós,” a song symbolic of the duality of farewells: the sadness that comes after a goodbye and the promise of a new beginning. Yatra sings, “Me debo ir / no me quiero.”

“Adiós” came to life organically, crafted on a night among friends and composed with the help of a close peer, the talented Spanish pianist and singer-songwriter Pablo Lopez. The official video, directed by Joaquin Cambre, carries the song’s theme of solitude and sadness, set in an abandoned house in a very small town in Georgia; but as the visual continues, the viewer recognizes that even with the most painful moments, there is a hope that transcends, noticeable in the vastness of nature, the open landscapes as well as the white imagery serving as a symbol of hope — WATCH HERE!

Ahead of his official video premiere, Yatra shared a heartfelt message with his fans: “This last year has been a hard year, an unexpected year, for all of us, including myself. We have had to say goodbye to people, dreams, ideas and things we simply thought were going to happen in our lives that didn’t and the opposite actually ended up happening.” Sebastián continued “These last few days I just needed a break, I needed to stop everything so that I can restart, and God willing restart in a beautiful way with love with this song.” Hear his message in full — HERE!
